The solution we delivered

The property manager wanted to make use of the building's roof and ease co-owners' charges. Eneffic structured an end-to-end collective self-consumption project, from paperwork to commissioning.

The context

A large unused roof area and steadily rising shared electricity charges were weighing on the co-ownership's budget. Co-owners were reluctant to commit to a heavy, uncertain investment.

The rollout

Installation, allocation of output across units and performance monitoring were handled with no long commitment for the co-ownership. Eneffic managed the Enedis declaration and the collective self-consumption agreement.

Our role and contribution

Eneffic carried the project at every stage, securing both the co-owners' decision and the commissioning of the installation.

  1. Feasibility study and general-meeting vote

Sizing of the plant and presentation of the project to co-owners.

  2. Paperwork and agreement

Enedis declaration and collective self-consumption agreement fully handled.

  3. Commissioning and performance monitoring

Allocation of output across units and continuous yield monitoring.

Results

The building now covers 42% of its needs with its own solar output, cutting shared charges by 22%. The expected payback is nine years, with panels warranted well beyond that.
